Annelize Pretorius Art

Annelize Pretorius is an artist based in Paternoster on the West Coast of South Africa. She grew up in Pretoria and lived and worked in Centurion, Gauteng for many years. 

Annelize had her own Audiology and Speech Language Therapy practice for 25 years and she was Director and co-owner of a Human Resources consultation business. She was also a facilitator and training programme developer.

She relocated to Paternoster in 2011 where she occupies her days with creative fun filled activities. She loves to attend art getaways with two of her closest friends. Annelize loves yoga and singing and she enjoys the company of wonderful friends and family and enjoys participating in the creative activities of her grandchild.

Annelize always had an interest in art and attended various art exhibitions across the Country. She is a self taught artist who started painting in 2012. Annelize attended various art courses and classes with tutors such as Mariette Marais in Pretoria and Ajay in Paternoster. She paints mostly in oils with palette knife and brushes but sometimes uses acrylics for special projects. Her subjects vary from still life paintings to flowers, seascapes and landscapes. She has a special affinity for the beautiful authentic West Coast houses.

Annelize exhibited in Pretoria and Paternoster and her paintings hang in homes across the country and overseas. Her painting ‘Street Musician’, commissioned by her classmates, hangs in her Alma Mater in Pretoria.

 She currently exhibits at Infinity the family self-catering business and at the Art Shed at the Waterfront in Paternoster. You can meet her personally at the Art Shed where her art can be viewed daily.
